Maintenance of Credentials (MOC)
When a board certified chiropractic orthopedist initially applies for membership in the Academy the process requires registration of documentation of specialty credentials. The Academy secures copies of the certificates of the doctor’s credentials. These documents (Chiropractic College diploma and source verification letter from the college, State license and verification letter from the state board, Diplomate certificate and verification letter from the certifying board) are received by the Academy and permanently stored in a secure digital format. Following sole source verification of all specialty credentials the board certified orthopedist receives Fellow status.
Maintenance of Credentials (MOC) is a three step program consisting of initial credentialing, recredentialing and recertification.
