Membership and Maintenance of Credentials
Members of the Academy are designated as Fellows of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (FACO). Academy membership is comprised of board certified chiropractic orthopedists. Academy membership is limited to doctors of chiropractic who have completed the extensive post-doctoral education in non-surgical orthopedics, and have passed the orthopedic specialty board certification examination. They have been awarded Diplomate certification either as Diplomate of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DACO) or Diplomate, American Board of Chiropractic Orthopedists (DABCO).
