Members of the Academy are designated as Fellows of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (FACO). Academy membership is comprised of board certified chiropractic orthopedists. These are doctors of chiropractic who have completed extensive post-doctoral education in non-surgical orthopedics, and have passed a specialty examination to become board certified chiropractic orthopedists (Diplomate).

Your Academy membership privileges you to use the designation Fellow of the Academy of Chiropractic Orthopedists (FACO). The Academy is the only organization that provides voluntary re-credentialing and recertification of the orthopedic Diplomate status (DACO or DABCO). Membership dues must be paid to maintain FACO designation. Re-credentialed and / or recertified chiropractic orthopedists that are no longer members in good standing with current paid dues demit from their Fellow status with the Academy and will be removed from the recredentialed rolls.
